Located on the Domaine du Rocher Saint-Loup in the Vercors, our 40 m2 yurts offer a complete change of scenery in the middle of nature, where goats and horses graze.
Equipped with pleasant, comfortable furnishings, our yurts can accommodate up to 2 families, offering a cosy living space and an exceptional panoramic view of the region that will astonish and delight those around you.
In an old stable, a sanitary block is available (3 large walk-in showers, 2 toilets, 2 washbasins).
Our yurts are available to rent all year round, and are heated by wood-burning stoves in winter.

Immerse yourself in nature
We welcome you to our 50-hectare estate, lost in a protected natural area 3 kilometers from any habitation.
Once you've left your car or the bus in town, you'll only need to walk for about three-quarters of an hour to reach us on a 4x4 track. Despite a few small climbs, this access is very practicable for anyone, even without training. Luggage can be transported to the farm by donkey or 4x4.

A thoughtful welcome
As the estate is entirely enclosed, we welcome guests by reservation only, in order to preserve the peace and quiet of both our guests and the animals (domestic and especially wild). This is the key to offering you an immersion in nature in the immediate vicinity of Grenoble.
For a meal, our farmhouse inn offers a wide range of quality produce.
For a half-board stay, meals at the Ferme-Auberge can be complemented by the fruits of your pickings on the site (plants, berries, etc.), which Stéphane, a qualified mountain leader, will introduce you to.

Wild animals
Mouflons, stags, roe deer, chamois, wild boar, foxes, hares, birds of prey, salamanders, squirrels...
Throughout the estate, wild animals are not disturbed by hunting, and it's always a pleasure to have the chance to observe them.

Whether you're looking for a long or short break, you'll find that there are plenty of activities to choose from. From programmed stays to "à la carte" activities. Of course, we can also put together a tailor-made program for you.
On a ranch
Share our life and experience as ranchers. Come and take part in the day-to-day work on the farm (animal care, restraint, fencing, etc.). Through this experience, you'll be able to observe and understand the behavior of our American horses
(Paint horse and Quarter horse) and our donkeys. Thanks to all this time spent in contact with animals, riders or simply nature lovers will be able to improve and enrich a special relationship with their own equine companion.
Walks and hikes
With a qualified Mountain Leader, you'll be offered a different outing every day, with a wide variety of themes and locations. For example, depending on the season, snowshoeing, edible plant picking, night-time wildlife spotting, themed torrent outings, picnic days with the donkeys, etc.

Meals directly from the farm to the inn
The Inn
Thanks to our varied production, our Farm-Inn is able to offer you quality food (meals based on products from the farm and local producers).
As the estate is entirely enclosed, we only welcome groups of 8 to 50 people by reservation, to ensure the peace and quiet of our guests and animals (both domestic and wild). This is the key to offering you an immersion in nature in the immediate vicinity of Grenoble.
We also offer snacks for children's groups, as part of farm visits or birthday parties.
We also organize festive meals for weddings, birthdays, banquets, etc., and develop customized projects.

The farm
Here, the guiding principle of our activities remains quality. Quality of welcome, but also quality of products, almost all of which come from our own farm.
Our goats live in total freedom, our poultry are grain-fed and live in the open air, and our vegetable garden is free from chemical treatments.
Our guests can participate with us in all the farm's activities: breeding, market gardening...
So, even if you don't find any organic or other labels here, everyone can understand in practice how agriculture is respectful of the environment and animal welfare: in fact, rediscover the role of the real farmer!

Access to nature and soft mobility
You don't need a car to reach our estate... what an asset!
In fact, you need to cover 2 km of dirt track, on foot or accompanied by pack animals, to discover the magic of the Domaine du Rocher St-Loup and all its "inhabitants".
At the gateway to Grenoble, we also enjoy the benefits of easy access by public transport to the village of Vif. So, without a car, our little corner of paradise is just 4 hours from Paris or 6 hours from Brussels.
