Alpe d'Huez Snowboard School offers snowboarding courses and camps, from beginners to freestyle and freeride, with everything you need to enjoy learning to snowboard.
+ Snowkite activity (kite flying on snow)

Snowboarding courses and camps for groups of 6 people maximum and private groups of 5 people maximum.
Contents :
Snowboard Découverte> discovering snowboarding equipment, learning how to use it, technical vocabulary, getting used to your position, finding your balance, sliding down the slope, stopping, finding your balance in motion, skidding with the snowboard from left to right in support transfer.
Snowboard Intermédiaire> Skidded turns with support transfer on medium slopes, series of skidded turns by extension on steep slopes, series of driven rocker turns using the shape of the snowboard.
Snowboard Indépendant> Trigger skidding turns by extension on medium slopes, powder snow and moguls. Tilt turns with a basic attitude that compensates for centrifugal force. Be able to increase speed by taking an angle. Actively counteract centrifugal force. Conducted (carved) turns by extension actively linked with dynamic extension when changing support. Driven turns (carved) with dynamic flexion unloading during edge transfer. Leg play, triggering short turns with dynamic extension and change of support without vertical movement. Freeride techniques for unprepared and unsecured slopes.
Freestyle Snowpark des Jeux and dedicated areas
Freeride Alpe d'Huez Grand domaine and Satellite Resorts Safety equipment provided.
Snowkiting in Snowboard 2 people maximum.
Discovery course theoretical topo, spot environment activities, set up, safety check, piloting traction zone, first glide.
Intermediate course, folding and unfolding, use of terrain.
Independent course exploring the area, discovering the possibilities of the activity.
