Gentlemen skiers

Chamrousse goes retro for a weekend!
Every year, this unique event brings together hundreds of enthusiasts of old machines (cars, motorcycles, scooters) and vintage skiing.
It's an opportunity to relive the history of winter sports for a weekend, from the first hesitant tracks of the pioneers of the 30s, to the more modernist and sharpened style of the late 60s.

GENERAL PUBLIC :
- Spectator - free access: vintage village and convoy gathering of vintage vehicles and skating rink evening.
- PARTICIPANTS: Paying and with registration: vintage slalom (ski pass), swing dance lessons (€30 for 4 hours) and evening party (€10).
Dress code: in order to experience this journey through time, we invite participants to respect a coherent dress code, with ski outfits and evening wear either vintage (pre-1969) or inspired by it.

Participant program (≠ general public)
FRIDAY
- 10am - 12pm: exhibitors welcome and village preparation
- 3pm - 6pm: village opening
- 7pm - 9pm: "Welcome Ice Party" skating party and ice dance demonstration (spectators welcome)

SATURDAY
- 10am: motorcycle departure from "Seiglières" on the road up to Chamrousse
- 12pm: activities (tobogganing, skating, hiking, dance classes...) or free skiing
- 2pm - 4pm: swing lindy hop slow blues dance class (2h)
- 4pm - 5pm: vintage slalom with 3 categories: 30s/40s, 50s/60s and vintage véloski (⚠ moved from the Aiguille piste to the Lauze piste at Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger)
- 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.: festive Velvet Gloves concert in the Salle Polyvalente (under the Tourist Office).

SUNDAY
- 9am: village opening with flea market (vintage clothing and equipment) and museum tent
- 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: rally / vintage car-bike ride and exhibition / dance class (2h)
- 10am - 2pm: activities (tobogganing, skating, hiking...) or free skiing
- 2pm - 4pm: prize-giving ceremony
