Moulin La Belle Huile
Come and discover a walnut oil mill combining tradition and modernity! Séverine, artisan miller, opens the doors of her mill on the family farm La Belle Noix. Tastings (oils, by-products), tours and farm store.
Born into a farming family, Séverine Belle has always known farm work, and when, after thirteen years' experience in the food industry, she decided to change direction, it was only natural that she should turn to agriculture. Her brother having taken over their parents' nuciculture business, it was on his farm that she decided to set up her mill in 2018.
Moulin la Belle Huile offers custom oil pressing in a brand-new mill made entirely of stainless steel. It is equipped with a grinding wheel to crush the kernels, a heater to roast them and a hydraulic press to extract the oil in a single push using the traditional method.
At the same time, Séverine offers you quality walnut and hazelnut oil pressed at the mill by her own hands from Dauphiné kernels and French hazelnuts. And since "nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed", La Moulinière uses the cake obtained after pressing to obtain a gluten-free walnut and hazelnut flour.
You'll also be able to visit La Belle Noix farm and its on-farm processing workshop, where gourmet products derived from walnuts are prepared. A tasting session will be offered.
