You can enjoy the many local hiking paths (GR54), as well as a range of other activities available in Oisans, such as fishing, windsurfing, watersports 10 km away, mountain biking and cycling up the switchbacks to Alpe d'Huez.
There is a link to the Grandes Rousses skiing area (Alpe d'Huez/Auris) 3 km away.

From Bourg d'Oisans, follow the signs for Alpe d'Huez / La Garde en Oisans. In La Garde, follow signs to Auris en Oisans. In Armentier le Haut, follow Maronne (and no longer Auris). The gite is on the right after the wash house.
