At Lauvitel Lodge, the hamlet of La Danchere creates a quiet, peaceful environment that invites you to rest, switch off and really take time out. We believe there is nothing that can beat a warm welcome and knowing you are going to be well looked after.

Your Stay:
In these busy, fast paced and uncertain times, it becomes harder and harder to truly relax, take time out together and reconnect with what is really important. Whether you stay for 2 nights or 2 weeks, our aim is that you will leave here greeting the day with new energy, open to new experiences and new connections, with a confidence that you will find what you are looking for with joy and renewed enthusiasm.
The Team:
Caroline and her team create a welcome that is warm and friendly so that you feel immediately at home. We are a small hotel with only 10 guest bedrooms and many returning clients creating a convivial atmosphere, even in these times of social distancing.
Well Being:
We have beautiful gardens for everyone to relax in and a small private outside practice deck for yoga and meditation. There are also a selection of individual well-being sessions available on site including faciatherapy, massage, reiki, yoga and well-being coaching. This summer (2021) we will be launching our brand new studio space called "The Still Point" for consciousness and well-being practices - yoga, t'ai chi, meditation, dance ...
Nature:
This year we have created a series of Stillness in Action Experiences that bring us closer to nature and takes advantage of
our spectacular location in close proximity to all of nature's elements - rock, sky, air, water and wood - that are here to calm you, embrace you, resource you, challenge you, invigorate you.
Food:
At Lauvitel Lodge, we know what a difference it makes to find great food and quality drinks in an environment where you can really relax and enjoy being together. Guests often call our garden restaurant “a little corner of paradise”, with its array of colourful flowers, the soft sounds of running water and the shade from our mature lime trees all surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery. And we know how important food is: good food that is fresh, healthy, prepared with love and right for you (including gluten and lactose free). We enjoy preparing food that delights, whatever the rhythm and intention of your day.
NEW THIS YEAR We are going organic in the garden restaurant!
To keep in line with our growing ethos of connecting directly with nature and being good to the planet, we will be serving local and organic food and drinks in the garden this summer.
You:
You are someone who enjoys the contrast of being active and out in nature as well as quietly relaxing and doing very little - an increasingly lost art! You like to have your own space but also enjoy the company of others. You like great food and maybe good wine. But most of all you want your holiday to leave you feeling more refreshed than you ever thought possible.
We look forward to seeing you - whether you are dropping in or staying with us for your whole holidays.
