1st day : La Bérarde - Vallon des Étançons (via Plaret Gény)
730m D+ / 3h30 walk / 7 km. Night at the Châtelleret Refuge.
2nd day : Le Châtelleret - La Bérarde - Temple Écrins
700m D+ / 4h30 walk / 12 km. Night at the Temple Écrins Refuge, fully renovated since 2018.
Day 3: Temple Écrins - Chardon valley - La Bérarde
700m D+ / 3h30 walk / 7 km. Night at the Auberge de la Meije or the Chalet Alpin Français.
OPTION AVAILABLE : DISCOVERING ALPINE (half day guided tour from the Temple Ecrins hut to the Col de la Temple)
4th day : La Bérarde - Soreiller cirque
1150m D+ / 4h45 walk / 8 km. Night at the Soreiller refuge.
(Possibility to shorten this stage by taking your car from La Bérarde to the hamlet of Les Etages)
5th day : Le Soreiller - Les Etages or La Bérarde
150m D+ / 3H walk / 7 km. Return to your starting point.
If you wish to continue your day's hiking, a walk in the Etages valley is proposed: 320m D+ / 3h walk / 10 km.
