Around the Lac du Verney by e-bike from Vaujany
Cool down with this ride around the lake, stopping to explore the villages of Allemond and Oz, as well as the Hydrelec museum. Throw in some pedal-boating and a picnic on the banks of the lake and you have your perfect day!
ROUTE
Ride down to the Lac du Verney from Vaujany. Turn right, following signs for the Col du Glandon and Col de la Croix de Fer. After 2 km, take the next road left (D43) towards Le Villaret and Allemond. This lovely road takes you into the upper reaches of Allemond village. Ride down to the dam and along to the sports centre to cool off. Then cross over the dam and take the D44 up to Oz. Take a stroll through the steep village lanes, then return to the lake on the same road. The Hydrelec museum is located just before the climb up to Vaujany.
