A veritable Proust's dream story for many families, ANTESITE was born of the desire of one man, Noël Perrot-Berton, an apothecary in Voiron, to combat alcoholism among railway workers on construction sites during hot weather.
Feeling he had a public health mission, the pharmacist created the famous licorice concentrate in 1898.
For over a century, the recipe in the little bottle has remained unchanged and secret.
