Chamrousse snowshoeing tracks

  • Winter sports
  • Snowshoe itinerary

Want to discover the mountain in a different way ? Don't hesitate to escape for a moment along our 17km of snowshoeing tracks.

Welcome to the Arselle plateau (1600), a preserved setting surrounded by cembros pines and with a magnificent view of the Taillefer massif.

Several snowshoeing tracks for all levels for a duration ranging from 1h30 to 4h30 to discover the natural heritage of Chamrousse: Arselle plateau, Achard lake (snow-covered), Croix of Chamousse with a new multi-activity night track from Recoin (Chamrousse 1650)!

Advice from the National Board of Woodlands:
It is not recommended for pedestrians to walk on the snowshoeing tracks. You might sink deeply into the snow and the track would become impassable.
Don't leave the marked paths.
Listen and observe animals without trying to follow tracks in the snow. Winter is a difficult time for the black grouse and the mountain hare, repeated disturbance may compromise their survival.
Don't leave your rubbish behind in the mountain.

Rental of snowshoe equipment in sports shops on the different parts of the resort (Chamrousse 1600, 1650, 1700 and 1750).

Find all the snowshoe trails but also the service providers for the accompaniment as well as the activities in the paragraph "see also" below.
