It has always been shared by the two parishes of Vaulnaveys-le-Haut and Vaulnaveys-le-Bas.
Its 18th-century bell tower is a copy of that of Grenoble's Saint-André church. Inside, the church features an 18th-century cross, reliquary and wood panelling, as well as the main altar (1755) from the Chartreuse de Prémol.
On the side of the church are some very old sarcophagi.
