Art Gallery Vent des Cimes
This contemporary art gallery, founded in 1966, presents paintings, photographs and sculptures by some thirty French and international artists. Temporary solo and group exhibitions. Free admission.
Galerie Vent des Cimes has been part of the regional cultural landscape since 1966. Initially created in Alpe d'Huez, the gallery has been present in Grenoble since 1968, first on the banks of the Isère, then on Avenue Alsace Lorraine, before moving to 9 Place Victor Hugo in 2022.
We welcome you on two levels and offer 8 to 9 different exhibitions a year. The first floor is dedicated to the artist or artists of the moment. Upstairs, you'll find works from previous exhibitions.
For almost 60 years, we've been committed to supporting the careers of men and women who put all their energy and soul into their creations. Our attention is constantly focused on the quality, originality and sincerity of our artists, in a wide variety of universes and styles: figurative, abstract, dreamlike, street-art, ceramic, bronze and resin sculptures. Our catalog includes works by renowned French and international artists such as Paul Beckrich, Josepha, Françoise Nielly, C215, Daniel Castan, David Jamin, Anne Bachelier, Yoël Benharrouche, Mark Dedrie, Nancy Vuylsteke de Laps, Benoist Clouet, Bernard Louedin, Hugo Terracol...
There are also regular exhibitions and lectures dedicated to Aboriginal art from Australia and India (Warli).
