Educational path

From the heritage and environment centre of Chamrousse, in the Belledonne mountains, you can walk around a educational path.

It consists in a discovery tour with different points of interest in Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin:
• Chamrousse environment centre: former chalet of the French Alpine Club rehabilitated with an exhibition space and a programme of activities
• Educational itinerary: five permanent outdoor exhibition panels, created with the financial support of the Leader programme
• Arboretum: trees and species specific to Chamrousse and the south of the Belledonne massif, which grow naturally above an altitude of 1,700 metres in the alpine zone
• Tourist office: a must to be advised on all that there is to do in Chamrousse
• Departure from the GR738 (summer): long-distance hiking route that crosses the entire Belledonne massif (or simply by the day for the Robert lakes or stage 10 towards the Pra refuge)
• Belvedere: view of the mountains and the valley

Moreover, you will find at Chamrousse environment centre 2 picnic tables and a solar panel.
