Lac des fétoules Été 2024

Starting from the Refuge de la Lavey, carry on up the Vallon de la Muande and then take the path up towards the Tete des Fétoules.

ROUTE :
After the refuge, cross the torrent de la Muande and turn left towards the Lac des Fétoules. Winding ascent over scree and grassy slopes to Lac des Fétoules. The descent is then quite steep to reach the refuge path. You can return via Lac des Fétoules, a little-frequented route at the foot of the Tête des Fétoules.

At 2249 m, Lac des Fétoules is a small mountain lake just the way we like them! Set on a small grassy plateau, the view over the valley and the Écrins glaciers is magical. A great hike to do with an overnight stay at the Lavey refuge for families who want to experience a real immersion in the heart of the Oisans mountains and the Parc des Écrins.

The RD530 leading to Vénosc, Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans and La Bérarde is closed to all vehicular traffic, from the intersection with the RD1091 (at Le Clapier d'Auris) to the hamlet of Les Étages (Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans), via Venosc (Les Deux Alpes), except for local residents.
