Limestone cliffs draped in lush green forests characterise the Chartreuse massif, which stretches between Grenoble, Voiron and Chambéry. Since its designation as a Regional Natural Park in 1995, this area has become a remarkable natural site. Over 2,000 plant species, accounting for one-third of all species in France, thrive within its boundaries.
