With its distinctive soaring peaks, some reaching nearly 3,000 metres, and a mineral-rich landscape, Belledonne offers a pristine, unspoilt wilderness: a paradise for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. This untamed mountain range, untouched by roads, offers a rare glimpse of the Alps at their wildest.

Near the peaks, Belledonne’s lakes, slopes and mountain huts create a year-round adventure playground for hiking or climbing.

The mountain resorts of Chamrousse, Les Sept Laux and Le Collet-d’Allevard are ideal for snow sports and adventure lovers. While down in the valleys, the thermal spa towns of Allevard and Uriage-les-Bains provide the perfect place for a spot of relaxation after a day in Isère’s mountains.
