Cheesemakers, pork butchers, chocolate makers... the craftspeople and shopowners whose expertise has made a name for the local area will share their history and their secrets with you on a walking tour with opportunities to taste their treasured concoctions.

Explore Vienne in a very different way... Your gourmet walking tour begins in front of the Temple of Augustus and Livia. You'll then go on to meet three local shopowners, selected for the quality of their products and their commitment to sharing their expertise (Maison Avenel, one of the last tripe butchers in the region, the Fromagerie Viennoise, and the Chocolaterie Panel). After this gourmet walking tour, the group will take part in a tasting of the products seen and a selection of wines from 2 of the region's iconic grape varieties: Viognier and Syrah.
