Vallon de la Selle

Les 2 Alpes

This off-piste descent begins at Les 2 Alpes, in the Vallon de la Selle. Starting from La Grave at 3,200 m, the slope is steep and best suited for experienced skiers.

The terrain becomes particularly challenging as you descend into the deep valley. Beyond that, the area remains untouched, with no buildings in sight except for the Refuge de la Selle, which you can barely make out as you descend.

Before you go: This route requires special safety equipment and strong off-piste skiing skills. We recommend you book a guide to accompany you on your descent.

The Casserousse Olympic run

Chamrousse

Casserousse is THE destination for both skiing enthusiasts and lovers of alpine history. It was on this legendary run that Jean-Claude Killy made his mark during the 1968 Grenoble Olympics.

With its steep, technical slopes, Casserousse offers an unbeatable skiing experience set amid a dense, natural forest. Every turn reveals the raw power of the mountains. More than just a piste, Casserousse is a journey through history, where the past and emotion blend together with the intensity of the descent.

Dare to take on the famous catapult start, a challenge invented by the champion himself, with the city of Grenoble stretching out below you?

Vallons du Pra

Les 7 Laux

The Combe du Pra at Les 7 Laux is ideal for first-time off-piste skiers. The valley offers three black pistes with a vertical drop of over 1,000 metres, in a pristine setting with no ski lifts.

A true adventure playground for skiers seeking freedom, the wild yet safe off-piste terrain offers an exceptional descent through peaks and valleys, with endless powder stretching as far as the eye can see. This is where you can experience skiing in its purest form, where every turn leads to a new adventure.

Before you go: This piste is a safe off-piste area. If you’re new to skiing, beware: the descent is long, the piste ungroomed and you’ll need to be physically fit.
