Arandon Church

  • Historic site and monument

The village church of Saint Cyprien was restored in 1841 and achieved its current size after being extended in 1861 by H. Quenin. The architect built a belltower and transformed the old chancel by adding two side-chapels and the nave.

The original bell, which was consecrated on 30th April 1771, and stained-glass windows unfortunately disappeared but were later replaced. The current bell was consecrated on 6th November 1869.
