Buvin Church

  • Historic site and monument

The 33-metre length and 14-metre width may appear to be rather imposing dimensions for a village church. The nave has a semi-circular vault supported by two rows of columns with recessed corners.

Although this church is named after St Andrew, the local residents tend to call it St Julien who was the patron saint of the previous church, of which there are no visible remains.
From above, sixteen bay windows allow daylight through, beautifully enhancing the architecture's overall decorative effect.
