Car-free hikes 2 days & 1 night - The hut of Lou Pi, belevedere of Beaumont in the Matheysine mountains

A car-free hike where you can take the bus to and from the site. Make sure you know the time and day of traffic before you leave.
Please make arrangements for overnight bivouacs.
Small hut to discover, renovated during a participative workcamp and offering a magnificent view of the first peaks of Dévoluy.
You can spend the night in an unguarded hut or in a bivouac.
Itinerary with public transport proposed by Alpes Là.
Transport stop La Salle-en-Beaumont - Eglise (790 m) - 35 min (1.3 km, D+ 112 m)
From the stop, head northeast to the hamlet of Les Parajons on the
marked trail. Continue along the track (heading east), which first skirts the river
the river before gradually climbing up to reach the canal
du Beaumont.
1) Le Canal du Beaumont (915 m) - 1 h 15 (2.2 km, D+ 302 m, D- 12 m)
Continue up the northeast path overlooking the river
(a well-trodden path over small bars) to reach the village of

3) Cabane de Lou Pi (1273 m) - 1 h 30 (4.8 km, D- 389 m)
From the hut, return to the track and continue westwards through undergrowth

joining the hamlet of Les Ailloux, which becomes a tarmac
road. Follow this road to the hamlet of Chalméane then
Saint Laurent en Beaumont. On leaving the village
reach the Font Vieille bend, where you leave the road.
4) Font Vieille - St-Laurent-en-Beaumont (898 m) - 1 h 20 (4.3 km,
D+ 78 m, D- 61 m)
After a short bend, take the track leading to the Canal de
Beaumont canal. Then follow its theme trail, which tells the story
