Chamrousse mountain

The Chamrousse mountain area is open all year round, but not secured and marked (you are responsible for your own use).
It's a free-access mountain, outside the ski and mountain bike areas (open in winter and summer).

Ideal for enjoying the mountains through the seasons in the heart of the forest: walking in spring, hiking in summer, hiking in autumn and snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in winter.

Nature is yours for the taking, but be careful in the shoulder seasons (spring and autumn): not all trails are accessible and marked, because of the snow, and the weather can change very quickly in the mountains.
