The chapel was mentioned in 1665 by Monseigneur de Saint Julin and in 1678 the chapel was attributed to St Claude, then in 1683/1686 it was attributed to St Claude and St Louis
It is described as being vaulted and covered with slates and having a chalice by Monseigneur de Caulet
