Gorges du Guiers Mort

A walk along the Guiers Mort featuring small bridges and footbridges, also known as the "Balade des poissons bleus." From the St. Bruno Bridge to the Pic de l’Oeillette, you'll have the opportunity to discover the legacy of the Carthusian monks.

Set off to discover the Gorges du Guiers Mort, an unforgettable hike that immerses you in spectacular landscapes. This enchanting route, bordered by impressive cliffs and crystal-clear rivers, offers a true spectacle of nature.

Note: It can be very slippery in wet weather. This walk is suitable for sure-footed hikers and children who are already quite capable, as you may need to use your hands at times.

(1) Start on foot along the left bank path that leads to the Petite Vache bridge and then to the Péran bridge. Cross the latter and follow the blue-marked trail (fish) to the right.

(2) Cross the three footbridges; the path returns to the left bank. A fourth footbridge crosses the Fenaison stream.

(3) Climb in switchbacks until you reach the service road, then follow it to the left until you reach the Guiers. Take the trail that leads to the foot of the Pic de l’Oeillette.

(4) Return along the same path until you reach the service road. Follow it (blue markers) until you reach a trail taken on the way in that descends through the woods to the Péran bridge.
