Hôtel de Sautereau-Amat

  • Historic site and monument

This house, built around 1500/1510, is typical of late medieval buildings. Restored in the late 1990s, it has been restored to its original courtyard and street facades, with molded mullioned windows.

The cross-vaulted passageway has partly preserved its sculpted lanterns depicting astonishing figures. In the courtyard, whose floor is covered with large stone slabs, the polygonal spiral staircase tower is linked by galleries to a second building dating from the first half of the 17th century. Listed as a historic monument in 1987.
