La Rando Etoilée - Night-time ski touring

Invigorating stops and entertainment will punctuate the trail, which has been especially laid out as part of the La Belle Étoile race weekend.

Departures (free) will take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm maximum, but has to be before closing time at 9pm.

This will be followed by a festive evening with a meal, refreshment bar and DJ on the Pipay snow front.

To take part in the race, you must register (online or on site) and pick up your number equipped with a microchip at the Pipay hors-sac. You must also be equipped with a helmet, headlamp and ski touring gear. The hike is free and open to all, from age 11 if accompanied by an adult.

A shuttle bus will be available at €2 return:
Grenoble train station > Condillac Université stop (St Martin d'Hères) > Lycée Marie Reynoard stop in Villard-Bonnot > Pipay
Bus departs Grenoble station at 4pm.
Return from Pipay at 9pm

Test equipment from our partners: Dynafit, Gignoux and Petzl
Ski touring equipment (skis/boot but poles not supplied) and helmets/frontals are available on reservation and on site for the duration of the evening.
