L'écoquartier Villeneuve
Creating the 1st popular eco-district is the ambition of the Villeneuve urban project in Grenoble. The project is structured around eight major areas of development: housing, public spaces, public facilities and economic activities.
Housing
As an important lever for improving the living environment and daily lives of residents, housing projects account for 70% of the overall budget for the Villeneuves project in Grenoble and Echirolles. They will be carried out by all the social landlords and will also benefit voluntary co-ownerships.
Redeveloping public spaces
The Villeneuves de Grenoble et d'Echirolles urban renewal project also aims to redesign neighborhoods that are open, dynamic and rich in green spaces.
Public facilities and services
Sport, health, culture, youth, leisure... Numerous facilities will be created, renovated, developed or reorganized in the different sectors of Villeneuves de Grenoble and Echirolles. The aim is to improve the quality of service provided to users, as well as the working conditions of professional teams.
Making neighborhoods more attractive again
In terms of the economy, the main objective of the Villeneuves urban project in Grenoble and Echirolles is to improve the commercial offer and, more broadly, the range of services available to businesses and the general public. In particular, this involves revitalizing local shops in the heart of the district and diversifying the supply of commercial real estate.
