Les Portes du Serriou

Discover the ski area in summer version and climb to the Portes du Serriou to dominate the resort and admire the surrounding mountains! Access possible by taking the Blache chairlift.

On the trail of what is a ski area in winter, discover the first slopes of Alpe du Grand Serre to the Portes du Serriou: up there, the view is breathtaking!

From the resort center, reach the hamlet of the Desert and stop at the foot of the Cochettes ski lift. From there, take the forest path that goes right under the ski lift then turns left at the crossroads. You will find yourself in the woods, on the squirrel trail (which in winter is the Gentian trail). On leaving the woods, take the forest path which climbs to the right to the top of the Blache chairlift, then to the right again to climb to Les Cochettes where the orientation table awaits you. From there, continue on the forest path (which in winter is the Auche trail then the Clots trail) to reach the top of the TS du Serriou. Return by the same route.

Good plan: take the Blache chairlift uphill, downhill or both to save time and height difference (300m less D + to climb). Remember to consult the opening days!
