Hiking itinerary - departure from the Plateau de l'Arselle reception area in Chamrousse 1600.
Arselle peatbog is airy and flowery in summer. It is a preserved area that seems like Canada. Information signs will make your visit of this sensitive natural space more enjoyable.
⚠ Warning: the Arselle plateau is a protected area (peat bog classified as an APPB - Arrêtés Préfectoraux de Protection Biotope), so there are a few rules to respect to help protect it. Fire, wild camping, bivouac, picking and dumping of waste are strictly forbidden. Please stay on the path around it, it is forbidden to go on the plateau in order to preserve the fragile environment.

Conditions d'accueil des animaux
- Pets allowed only during summer: dogs are allowed on all trails on a leash (please avoid taking them to the Arselle plateau, which is a sensitive natural area). The shepherd who works in Chamrousse in the summer has no Pyrenean Mountain Dog.

Road access from Grenoble: Rocade Sud > exit no. 2 "Uriage" > Route départementale 111 (RD 111) on the Luitel side.
In winter, bus access only: park along the road, then take the pedestrian link from the lower or upper parking lot (approx. 20-minute walk).
In summer and off-season access possible, but only about ten spaces.
Public transport - Chamrousse 1600 - Plateau de l'Arselle stop:
- resort shuttle: "Plateau de l'Arselle Domaine nordique (1600)" stop (to/from Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin and Chamrousse 17500 - Roche Béranger)
Public transport - Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger stop:
- regular bus service all year round: N93 (to/from Grenoble), "Chamrousse 1750" stop [merger of former bus routes T87, Transaltitude and Destination nature Skibus / Estibus 707].
- bus line / shuttle on reservation weekdays excluding public holidays: Flexo 57 to/from Uriage [former TAD TouGo transport on demand - line G701].
- resort shuttle in winter and summer: "Centre Commercial (1750)" stop (to/from Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin and Chamrousse 1600 - plateau de l'Arselle/nordic area)
