A site in the heart of the city, akin to an urban park, with all the amenities that local residents would expect: walkways, children's play areas, a pond for fishing and wildlife observation, and even a snack bar!
Parc de l'Ovalie has held the Ecojardin label since 2022. This label recognizes the ecological management of the metropolitan natural area.

Surface area: 7 ha, 5 of which belong to the Métropole and two to the Ville de Sassenage.
Open: year-round.
Activities: fishing, fitness trail, children's games, picnics, walking, cycling (on paths), restaurant, mini-golf.
Events: fireworks (July 14), environmental festival, jumping (late September), associative activities.
Pets: dogs must be kept on a leash.
Prohibitions: fires, swimming, motorized two-wheelers.
