Jams & syrups: local products, anti-waste and gourmet treats!

The project has several aims:
- To be part of an anti-waste approach, by recovering deformed fruit that is unused or for which there are no local buyers (private orchards, local producers, etc.),
- transforming them, and once again, this takes place in the region, in a plant processing laboratory in the hamlet of Les Guillets (St Pierre-de-Chartreuse),
- boost the local economy, by offering processed products again and again in the area.

In practical terms, since a good jam or syrup is above all good fruit, the fruit comes from the gardens of Chartreuse and the surrounding area, either from growers with surplus production, or from private individuals who don't consume the entire harvest of their fruit trees, or from gleanings.
An exception is made for apricots, peaches and nectarines, which are sourced from family farms in the Drôme region.)
All other raw materials (sugar, lemon, spices, etc.) are organic.
