Organise a stay with family or friends in an outstanding, unspoilt environment. The Refuge de la Boire is a renovated mountain chalet isolated in the heart of the Ferrand Valley. Share special and unique moments, among the pastures and local wildlife.

The Refuge de La Boire is an alpine chalet located at an altitude of 1900 m in Oisans pastureland. The site stands out for its panoramic views, unspoilt nature, walks starting from the chalet and its tranquillity (it is the only chalet in the valley!) It sleeps 6 people and comprises a large kitchen/living room with 3 beds, a bedroom with 3 beds, a ground floor with bathroom and dry toilet and a terrace facing south. Guests enter on the ground floor using a steep ladder or from the outside. The chalet is far from the relay antennas and is therefore perfect for electro-sensitive people.

In winter, visitors arrive on snow shoes or cross-country skis, and need to be experienced in winter conditions (no marked trails). It is also possible to use mountain professionals (guides). The owner is a trek leader, so feel free to ask him to accompany you!

Information on how to get to the refuge on foot:
From the village, cross the car park and take the track signposted Col de Saint Sébastien and Les Prés Nouveaux. 100 m after the bakery, turn right and go up into the mountain pastures through the hamlet of Bonnefin. Continue to the Col de Saint Sébastien and then into the Vallon de la Valette following a flanking path. The Refuge de la Boire can be seen in the middle of the mountain pasture.

By car:
From the village, cross the car park and take the track signposted Col de Saint Sébastien and Les Prés Nouveaux. After the bakery, go straight on. At Bonnefin the track is no longer tarmacked. Continue to the Col de Saint Sébastien (fork on the left as you reach the ridge) and then carry on into the Vallon de la Valette following a flanking path. The Refuge de la Boire can be seen in the middle of the mountain pasture. Near the chalet, take a left turn to get to the hut. Please park your car at the end of the pastoral track (100m away).
