Saint- André - Champagnier

  • Historic site and monument

Saint-André Church boasts a fine Romanesque bell tower made of tuff. It is located along one of the most popular family hikes in the area; Le Saut du Moine.

This small country church had its heyday in the time of the Dauphin. For a few years, it held the title of collegiate church, but was soon supplanted by the collegiate church of Saint-André de Grenoble.
The building has undergone numerous alterations, and only the rectangular apse remains from the Romanesque period.
