Saint Blaise church Champ sur Drac

  • Historic site and monument

Saint Blaise is a charming little church settled in Champ village within the outer walls of the medieval chateau. If you wish, it is also possible to take a stroll around the enclosure.

This 12th-century Romanesque church features a combed bell tower and a portal listed as a Monument Historique. The 1613 bell bears the name of its two patron saints, Saint Pierre and Saint Blaise in 1865.
Of particular note is the coffered ceiling and a high door with no staircase. This door gave access to a wooden gallery that no longer exists.
In the vicinity of the church, you can park your car and set off on a hike along the Connexe paths, in particular towards Saint-Michel de Connexe.
