Saint-Jean Church - Vaulnaveys le Haut

Firmly planted in the middle of the village, the Church of the two Vaulnaveys is currently being restored. It has always been shared between the two parishes of Vaulnaveys-le-Haut and Vaulnaveys-le-Bas.
Its 18th-century bell tower is a copy of the Saint-André Church bell tower in Grenoble.

Its 18th-century bell tower is a copy of that of Grenoble's Saint-André church. Inside, the church features an 18th-century cross, reliquary and wood panelling, as well as the main altar (1755) from the Chartreuse de Prémol.
On the side of the church are some very old sarcophagi.
