Voiron Public Gardens
A vast place to stroll and relax in the heart of Voiron where you can discover several species of trees, most of which are centuries old. You will also come across geese and ducks around the large pond. Playground for children, beehive.
The city garden extends over 30 m² of greenery and multicolored flower beds. There are 400 tree species (cedar, pine, ginko, oak, chestnut, plane tree, magnolia, maple…) many of which are centuries old.
To discover in particular in the middle of this green forest a plane tree 50 meters high resting on a trunk 6 meters in circumference. More than 240 years old, it is classified by the Rhône-Alpes federation for the protection of nature among the remarkable trees of the region.
During your walks, you will come across the permanent inhabitants of this relaxation and leisure area: deer, peacocks, ducks and geese, who frolic peacefully on the lawns or over the water features and streams of the park. To follow in particular the games of ducks and geese in the main pond of 2500 m².
A nautical center, mini-golf and a playground complete this decor.
